About Us
ChopUp was born out of a legacy of entrepreneurship, a deep love for food, and the desire to share culture through every bite. As sisters raised in a family of diverse entrepreneurs, successful across several sectors, food being one of them, we grew up understanding that food is more than just a meal. For us, it’s connection, identity, and celebration.
When we moved to London, we saw a gap. In a city known for its cultural variety, authentic, high-quality West African food that’s convenient and workplace-friendly was surprisingly hard to come by, especially for busy professionals and students like us. Having worked in the hospitality industry, we recognised the need for inclusive, easy-to-eat, well-packaged meals that seamlessly fit into everyday life. That inspired us to coin the concept of FlexiFood: meals made for movement, portable, practical, and perfect for offices, universities, gyms, and beyond. So, we set out to change that.
We launched ChopUp with one mission: to make easy, culturally rich food accessible in modern, grab-and-go formats. We started by introducing our Brunch Club a curated dining experience featuring Nigerian shawarma wraps, plantain waffles, bean fritters, and plant-based beverages like Kunu Aya (tiger nut milk) and Zobo in bold, refreshing flavours. All our offerings are crafted with tradition but made for today’s pace of life.

Kunu Aya (Tiger Nut Plant-Based Milk)
A smooth, creamy plant-based milk made from tiger nuts, sweetened naturally with dates and flavoured with ginger. Dairy-free, nut-free, gluten-free — packed with fiber, prebiotics, and all the goodness your body loves.

Zobo Drink (Hibiscus Infusion)
Refreshing, antioxidant-rich hibiscus drinks with vibrant fruit infusions like Pineapple Ginger, Mango Passion, and Lemon Mint. Caffeine-free, plant-based hydration — bold flavour in every sip.

Meat Pie
A buttery, flaky pastry filled with savoury minced meat, potatoes, and spices. Baked fresh, easy to grab-and-go, bringing that familiar taste of home with every bite.

Agege Club Sandwich
A hearty triple-layer sandwich made with soft Agege bread, chicken breast, turkey bacon, eggs, cheese, and our signature sauce blend. Big on flavour, perfect for lunch on the move.

Puff Puff
Soft, fluffy, deep-fried dough balls — lightly sweetened and oh-so-addictive. Available in classic plain, cinnamon sugar, or Oreo drizzle for that extra indulgence.

Chin Chin
Crispy, sweet fried dough bites — a classic West African snack, perfect for sharing or snacking on the go. Crunchy, golden, and made with simple, familiar ingredients.
ChopUp brings the familiar flavours we grew up on into everyday life, honest, feel-good food and drinks, made for real moments and ready to grab and go.

Born from a deep love for food, culture and community, ChopUp was created by two sisters on a mission to serve the bold, nostalgic flavors of home with a modern, intentional twist. What started with late-night ideas and childhood cravings turned into a full-blown brand rooted in entrepreneurship, shared experiences, and meaningful connections.
